Our Gang 4 Wheelers is an ice racing club whose volunteers have been organizing ice races in Colorado for 34 years! You'll find us out on Georgetown Lake in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Our season spans 6 weekends through January and February. It is almost time to start our 2010 season! You can participate with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, a valid driver's license and a small registration fee. We have classes for all levels of drivers. Ice racing is fun, safe and a great way to enjoy your 4x4 during the winter months. If you'd rather watch, remember that spectators are always free! Our Gang Meeting The last Our Gang Meeting before the start of the season will be on Tuesday, December 8th at 7:30 pm. We meet at the Brunswick Zone in Wheat Ridge (off of I-70 and Kipling). If you're interested in being an Our Gang Member in 2010, you can still sign up! Come to the meeting or if you are unable you can visit our membership page and fill out an application online. Our Gang and the races are completely run by volunteers. We welcome any help you can provide! Toys for Tots Christmas Caravan Our Gang will be at the Toys for Tots Caravan which is put on by the Colorado Associtation of Four Wheel Drive Clubs. It is December 5th from 10am to 3pm. Groups will caravan from all over the metro area to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. There you can donate a new, unwrapped toy to the Marine's Toys for Tots drive. There will be booths set up (including one featuring Our Gang) and lots to do at the fairgrounds. If you're interested here is a link to the flyer: Thank You! Thank you to everyone who showed up for the fundrasier on November 1st. With your help we raised over $1,000, which is equal to about 10 sponsorships. We are planning on having another fundraising event sometime during the season, so stay tuned! Sponsors We are again seeking sponsors for our 2010 ice racing season. Sponsors can be businesses of all types and sizes, race teams or even families. The support they provide allows us to hold our events and keep all fees as low as possible. Sponsorships are $100 each and you can select the division and tire class you wish to sponsor. Any driver who brings in a sponsorship will earn 2 free race entries.
